No news is no news

Just a quick update to say that nothing much has changed.  Surgery is still not scheduled, but the obvious frustration of our surgeon's office led to my question as to how I can apply pressure to the scheduling people.  I spoke with the 'patient advocacy' department last week, and made a semi-official complaint.  There should be some news for us this week.

The lack of life for Kirstin is taking its toll.  Morphine, lack of mental acuity, frustration, all on the increase.

Hopefully better news next week.

  1. Hey - nothing stinks quite like having to wait, it's one of the hardest things we are asked to do, I reckon. We are praying for grace, forgiveness, patience and laughter to continue to infuse your home and your lives. Also for an unexpected dip in neurosurgical emergencies at the Civic. Hang on in there! If we could do any part of this for you, we would - we love you.

  2. Thinking of you, Kirstin, and praying for patience and grace. Waiting this out has to be so challenging. We love you and I'm looking at old pictures of our two wonderful visits up to your home . . .it has been too long. We miss you!!!
